A bit of an experiment.

Hello world, and welcome to the madness that is my thought process.

Not entirely sure why I'm here yet and even less sure if I'll stay, but nothing ventured, nothing gained and all that.

I guess that after nearly a year being immersed in the small and self-referential world that is the fractal community on, and having finally reached the limits of my patience with the incompetence of the (oh, I'm going to squirm as I write this) management (see? told ya I'd squirm) of that site, I'm looking for somewhere to spill my witterings and post the occasional fractal or photograph.

I'm also a pretty opinionated old fart so while I muddle my way around blogger I may just share some of those with y'all ;)

I know your madness. I share your madness. That photo of you at five doesn't scare me, either! Pfffftt! ;)

I look forward to seeing how this develops and to reading anything and everything you care to write.

Witter away! :D

It don't scare me either, Welshy! LMAO! Glad to see that you got your own spot out here in the cosmic frontier. I hope you get your fractals uploaded soon, too. The world just isn't complete without them. :~)

Welcome to blog land! Cool photo of yourself too. I have been posting fractals to Flickr for a long time now and have never had any problems. There are quite a few groups on flickr dedicated to digital art, some are specifically for fractals.

Also, you can take your stuff from flickr and post your best works on your blog. Let me know if you need help doing this. Its pretty straightforward.
